The hyphonated version of the surname appears to have been a recent change (1911 is the first official record) but Tripp had been used as a forename for several generations. I have shown Tripp in capitals when it has been used as part of the Surname. When EDWARDS appears alone this indicates that I have not found a record containing Tripp as either a forename or part of the Surname. Some entries also show a T. when the initial has been found in official records.
